Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment uses the patient’s own cells to treat the disease. With a special system the platelet is taken from the patients blood and gets injected to the area with the issue.
Pain and swelling in the knee are the first symptoms. Following these, loosing the full range of motion of the knee joint shows that torn meniscus might be blocking the joint.

Prof. Dr. Fahri Erdoğan started his medical career at Istanbul University’s Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty in 1978 and in 1991 he started serving the same university as an Orthopedics and Traumatology specialist.
